Only way would be to replace nxp or unlock nxp (if possible) and reflash with 5.017 firmware if you have it and new sd card with 5.017 image on it there is people in the selling section selling nxp and sdcard for this

Why it’s necessary to update Kess V2 ecu programmer to version 5.017?

KESS 4.036 only work on Win XP
KESS 5.017 works on Win XP System, Win 7 32bit and Win 8

2- Token limitation

KESS 4.036 has no token limitationto some car, but some is limited
KESS 5.017 has no token limitationto all vehicles !

3- Vehicle coverage

KESS V4.036 only supports cars
KESS V5.017 can support cars/trucks/tractors/bikes !

4- Protocols available

In KESS 4.036 software, some protocols are in grey and not available
In KESS 5.017 software, all protocols are fully activated and available

5- KESS V5.017 is used with a USB dongle , make program more secure and stable !

KESS V5.017 comes with USB dongle, you must insert the dongle read cd software. When you install KESS software, it might get error in windows “do not find the driver” take usb dongle off and close it again. This is caused by Windows system.

NO need connect USB dongle all the time,only when you install the software you need connect,after installation,you can take if off,the kess can work alone.

China KESS V2 new adds simulator in the package. Updated version, same price as usual. With this simulator, now no need to change the NXP chip when tokens run out. Tips for Our KESS V2:
 
Please do not update this tool online. When you install the software or use this product, please do not connect the internet. This one is better be used on car and motocycles. If you use it to work on truck or the voltage that is higher than 12V, then it will be burned.
